Gwendolyn Jennings Obituary
Surviving Ms. Jennings are her children: Sonya Smith (Bruce), Kim Jennings, and Ralph Jennings III; a grandson raised in the home, Raphael Jennings; six sisters: Janie Hopper Wilson, Sandra Hopper Parks, Donna Hopper McDowell, Teresa Willis, Gytanna Tate, and Arlet Smith; one brother, Tyrone Smith; five grandchildren: Keionna Corry, Katie Smith, Keenen Corry, Alisha Smith, and Brittany Smith; six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: James Hopper Jr, Gregory Wayne Hopper, Gordon Victor Hopper, and George Henry Hopper; and a grandson, Manuel Smith.
A public viewing will be held on Monday, March 30th, from 5:00-8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC. Burial will follow at in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
