Sis. Mohair was integral in the foundation of my service in the music ministry. No one pushed me vocally the way she did. She saw much more in me than I could ever see in myself. I thank God for her life and ministry in the Kingdom of God. My prayers and condolences to the Mohair family.

I met Gwen in the early to mid 1980s. She was the pianist/music director at New Loyalty Baptist on Hirsch Rd in Houston. I will always remember her awesome spirit and dynamic singing and playing
