In memory of
Linda King
February 24, 2009
Edgar was a cousin. I remember the house he grew up in at Stop 16 and his mom and all the children who were older than I am.. also the wonderful art work that hung in the hall at Thomas Dale. My dad, Harry Womack lived off and on with the family during the depression and my mom, Catherine took Edgar's dad, her uncle, back to North Carolina when he died. I have my mom (87) in PA and we just heard of Edgar's passing.

Dear Bill,
I am sad to hear of Ed's passing. I remember the two of you very fondly as great family friends. Where ever you were, was the fun place to be - I can still hear your laughter, your partnership was inspiring. Mom always keeps me in-the-loop of your adventures. Hugs to you. I also heard via Eric, from Lori Felland - many are thinking of you and we all wish you peace.

Bill, I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed's passing. My memories of times with the two of you are as vivid as if they happened only yesterday....The Awards Club....Weekends at the Chickahominy Outpost campground....A Spring Vacation in Nags Head....She-crab soup at your home off Pocoshock....Dinners and parties at 3815 Chamberlayne Avenue....Chauffering you two to and from the airport for the Hawaii trip...and NO ONE can tell a story like Ed could...You and Ed were a huge part of my life and a very special part of my life for many years. I will always treasure my times with both of you. Ed's light will remain bright in my heart forever. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the months to come. I love you both - always..Sandy Stone
