H. George "Tex" Decancq M.D.

My children (now in their late 20´s), loved seeing Dr Decanq at Mendon Peds. He always knew just what to say to put them at ease and make them laugh. He loved to tell us "I´m supposed to be retired but my wife won´t let me stay at home because I get in her way". You could tell by the twinkle in his eye that he just adored her. Condolences to the family on the passing of this warm and wonderful human being.

Dr. Decanq was an amazing pediatrician. My children are now 48, my daughter would´ve been 45 and my youngest is 38 and they loved him. I would think of him often. He was so patient with my youngest who was ADHD and he helped me to navigate through it. Dr Decanq always had time for us, we are thankful for him. God blessed us all with this wonderful man. This is when he ran Mendon Pediatrics. Dr. Decanq was loved, rest in peace. Sincerely the Viggiani and Fritz family. And Kathy Kelly

Dr. Decancq was one in a million and his kindness had no limit. A great doctor and friend, he helped us navigate the most difficult time of our lives when our youngest child was born with severe disabilities. His support and encouragement helped us believe we could face the uncertain future when others painted a bleak picture. We are so glad he was our doctor. That child was our greatest blessing for 43 years. We give thanks daily for that experience. I know our Jimmy will be part of a big crowd to welcome Dr. Decancq into the heavenly kingdom. Well done, good and faithful servant.
