H. Doyle Alexander, age 91 of White Pine, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Doyle was superintendent and the oldest living member of Beth-Car United Methodist Church, a Korean War veteran where he served in the Navy, retired from American Enka and Snyder’s Auto Parts. Doyle was very active in the White Pine Community, he is a former member of the White Pine Fire Department, the White Pine Lions Club, American Legion Post #201, Leadvale Masonic Lodge # 390 F&AM and a member of the York and Scottish Rites, he also served 4 years as an Alderman for the Town of White Pine. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Burl and Nannie Reed Alexander, his sister Peggy Smith. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty M Alexander, children, son, Michael (Lisa) Alexander and daughter, Kathie Starnes, several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations be made to the White Pine Fire Department, P.O. Box 1086, White Pine, TN 37890. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, 6:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating, family will receive friends between the hours of 4-6:00pm prior to the funeral service. A Military Graveside Interment will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.
