Hailey Day

Hailey Day, age 24, passed away on April 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and boundless joy. Hailey was a vibrant soul known for her radiant spirit, warm heart, and ability to light up any room she entered. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift of making friends wherever she went. Her infectious laughter and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Hailey deeply loved music and art, finding solace and expression through her creativity. She approached life with an open heart and a sense of wonder, always ready to embrace new experiences and share her passion for the world around her. Hailey is survived by her loving family: her father, Daniel Day; her mother, Kassey Day; her sister, Katie Day; her grandparents, James and Diana Day and Pearl Church; her fiancé, Ralph Sheldon; her uncle, Jack Day; her aunts, Chrissy Day, Trudy Jones, and Tracy Harding. Hailey's family and friends will forever carry her memory in their hearts. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. At Noon, Chaplain Jon Sawyer will conduct a graveside service at Windsor Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum 80, Soles Lane, Dutton, VA 23050, followed by a reception at the VFW 7439 John Clayton Memorial Hwy, Gloucester, VA 23061. Hailey's untimely departure has left a deep void, but her spirit will continue to inspire and bring joy to all who know her. A beautiful, bright soul, Hailey will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Hailey. You will always be loved.
