Hal Coopersmith Obituary
of Atlantic City and Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Husband of Gayle Coopersmith. Father of Tracy (Andy) Spirt, Jodi (Jim) McManmon and Mindie (Cory) Jacobs. Also survived by 8 grandchildren: Zach (fiancée Lauren), Todd (Emily), Samantha, Alex, Jake, Max, Jamie, and Kyle.
Relatives and friends are invited Sunday, March 1, 2026, beginning 11:30AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc., 2001 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 12:00 noon. The funeral services will also be live streamed on Hal's Memorial Page at www.plattmemorial.com. Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Following the burial, a reception in Hal's memory will be held at the Westin Mt. Laurel from 2:30-5:30 PM. Contributions in Hal's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, https://events.alz.org/fundraisers/gaylecoopersmith/in-loving-memory-of-hal-coopersmith
