Hal Goldberg Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Leary Funeral Home Ltd. on Oct. 10, 2025.
Hal Goldberg, 64, of Drexel Hill, passed away on October 7, 2025.
Born and raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, Hal was a lifelong sports fan and music lover. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams: the New York Mets, New York Giants, New York Rangers, Boston Celtics, and Tottenham Hotspur, especially when cheering them on with his sons. Hal also had a deep appreciation for music, and loved listening to records from his extensive collection, featuring The Beatles, Wings, Bee Gees, The Grateful Dead and many more classic rock bands. He loved traveling, particularly to the Jersey Shore and Bermuda, where he made lasting memories with his family.
Hal was the beloved husband of the late Theresa Goldberg, and a devoted father to Max (Tina) and Jacob (Megan). He will be remembered for his warmth, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Eugene Church, 200 S. Oak Ave., Primos, PA 19018, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Hal's memory may be made to NPR.
