Through High School, College and into adulthood, Mike was one of my closest friends. He could always be counted on to be fun and entertaining. I knew he loved his family and he was a good person. He will be missed by his family and other close friends. Rest in Peace Mike.

So sad & shocked to read of Mike's passing. My condolences to all of his family. He was such a good friend & good guy to have grown up with as a kid in South Roebuck. Most all of the fond memories from elementary school, ball parks & high school had Mike as a part of them. If he was half as good of a man as he was as a kid, & by all accounts it sounds as if he was, he was a very good husband, father, brother & friend to all he knew. Knowing him made all of us better folks.
Please know that my family will certainly have Mike & the entire Self family in our prayers during this difficult time. We lost a mighty good guy.
