Hampton Weaver

Hampton Weaver, affectionately known to many as "Dank," was born on May 13th, 1960, to Eula and Arthur Weaver. He was called home to be with the lord on April 23rd, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories.
Hampton found his calling in landscaping, a profession he pursued until retirement. Even after he stopped working, you could still find him outdoors, tending to his yard with the same dedication and pride he brought to his life's work. His love for Cadillacs and food was only matched by the joy he found in the company of his family and friends.
Hampton was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Leshawn "Rocky" Brooks, and his beloved wife, Cynthia. He is survived by his children: Hampton (Jamila) Hill, Nikisha Hill, Ronnie (Kia) Walker, and his baby boy, Desmond Weaver. He also leaves behind his cherished siblings: Terry (Linda) Weaver, Kim (Ramon) Mendoza, Kevin Weaver, Shaun (Tyrone) Grant, Robin (Kim)Terry, Robert "Skinner" Weaver, Nancy (Billy)Simpson, Candice Sheppard & Rodney Davis. Grandchildren Stephen Hill, Maurice Jacobs, Jayda Hill, Sancole Wilson, Brielle Hill, Ronnie "RJ" Walker, Royah Colbourne, Rylee Walker & Roman Colbourne.
He had a special bond with all of his siblings, but his brotherhood was unmatched. Terry "Road Dog "as he liked to call him, Rodney, Kevin Dale, Skinner, Sid, Jeff, Theodore, and a lot more brought him endless laughter and support throughout his life. He was also a loving uncle to a host of nieces and nephews, and a loyal friend to many, many more.
To know Dank was to love him. His warm smile, funny sayings and genuine heart touched everyone he met. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Rd. Akron, Oh 44320.
