Hannah Rezentes-Brackett Obituary
Born on the Island of Molokai, she was raised by her grandmother in Honolulu, and they moved to California when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland, CA. She met her future husband, George Rezentes in the San Francisco Bay Area and married in 1955.
They were blessed with 5 children during their marriage and are survived by Tom (Gloria), Jeff (Joetta), Anne, Lisa, and Veronica. She was also blessed with 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear friend and care giver Pam Roesch who became more than a friend and care giver, but a member of our family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter in law Gayle (Tom) and second husband Albert Brackett.
Services are at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th Street, Kansas City, MO on January 29, 2026, at 11 o'clock followed by lunch in the parish hall.
Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hayward CA where she will be laid to rest with her first husband at a later date.

Hannah was a good friend, we had good lunches and dinners with all our friends. She will be missed by all her families and friends. Mary Simpson.

Hannah, was a funny lady and a delight to be around. We always looked forward to seeing her at the Saturday evening mass. George & Hannah always enjoyed each other after mass with their bantering & kidding each other. It was always such fun. Our prayers & thoughts are with Hannah, family & friends. God bless.
