To the Family and Close Friends of Harold Agnew: It is truly a sad day for America. Another of the greatest has fallen asleep in death. I hope it comforts you to know that death is like sleep in that the dead are unconscious and are experiencing no more pain. May you join my family in focusing on a time when sickness and death will be a thing of the past.

What a wonderful, delightful man Harold was! Always able to put a smile on my face. He will forever be remembered fondly by our whole family. So fortunate our kids met him and Beverly over lunch in Aspen one year...now they understand why my husband, Danny, and I have for so long mentioned Harold in such glowing terms. Definitely the best director the lab has ever had...
