Harold Braselton Obituary
Harold was born on June 4, 1932, to Florence and Thomas Braselton in Danville, Illinois. He graduated from Lew Wallace High School where he played in the school marching band. He worked at Youngstown Steel/LTV Steel, East Chicago, Indiana as a pipefitter for 27 years.
Harold was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene. He loved to sing solos for the church when called upon. He was a bowler and was in many leagues. Loved spending time outdoors as well as camping. Harold was also involved with East Glen Park Little League as a coach.
Harold was predeceased by his parents, Florence and Thomas; sisters, Gladys, Hazel, and Velma; his first wife, Ruth; and second wife, Sherrill.
Survived by his daughter, Connie (Dave) Talley, sons, Tom (Diane) Braselton, Jerry (Lori) Braselton, David (Tammy) Braselton; grandchildren, Branden Braselton, Joe, Jennifer and Butch Braselton, Brian and Brenda Talley, Zoe Braselton, Lou and Anna Cancholo; many great-grandchildren, nephew and nieces.
Visitation Friday, March 17, 2023 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with Funeral Services 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. from Ridgelawn Funeral home 4201 West Ridge Road Gary, Indiana 46408. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery.
