Harold M. Evans, 77, was born on November 10, 1947 to his parents J.D. and Mildred Jane Evans. He passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 to be with Jesus.
He was born in the mountains in Servilla of Polk County. He moved to Bradley County as a child and made it his home for over 70 years.
He witnessed to his doctors and nurses and those he knew that he was trusting in God, whether he lived or died, he was healed. Throughout his journey with Pancreatic cancer, he did not need pain medicine.
He loved his two daughters, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Evans, his mother Mildred Jane Evans and his father J.D. Evans.
He is survived by his wife Debra Evans, his two devoted daughters Summer White and Daisy Owenby. His four beloved grandchildren Trinity Stiles, Paris Sellers, Allie and Isaac Owenby and his two great grandchildren Genesis and Reuben Stiles.
Funeral services will be conducted at Companion Funeral Home, Original Chapel, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2:00 with services immediately following. Sam White will be officiating the service. Afterward they will proceed to Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding the service.
