Harold L. Harris

Harold L. Harris passed away peacefully on January 1. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love and encouragement shaped his family. Born in Alderson, West Virginia, and raised in Washington, D.C., Harold served in the U.S. Army and earned a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Maryland. He spent his entire 40 year career with Rohm and Haas. Harold shared a 69-year marriage with his wife Jean. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and time on the Chesapeake Bay and in Florida. He is survived by his wife; children Mark, Laura, and Ted; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bower Chapel in Naples, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
