Harold Lee Haught, 68, of Barton passed away Friday March 28, 2025, at home. He was born September 29, 1956, in Wheeling, a son of Dorothy (Terrill) Haught of Bellaire and the late Harold Junior Haught.
He was a retired coalminer with the former North American Coal Co. #6 mine, also Kermee Coal Mine in Glascia, ILL, and Alexanders Motorcycle Shop in Bellaire, member of the Belmont Ridge Christian Church. Harold was a graduate of Bridgeport High School class of 1974, an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and loved working on his farm.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Denise Moody, and his pap Richard Shaw.
In addition to his mother Harold is survived by his children Felicia Marie (Thomas) Teasdale of Chesapeake, OH,, and Harold Lee Haught Jr. of Huntington, WV, and Leann (Roger) Doty of Bellaire, his siblings Melvin (Cheri) Haught of Wellsburg, Kenneth Haught of Bellaire, Janice (Bob) Selmon of Barton, and Diane (Doug) Duda of Bellaire, Amy Haught, and Lisa (Dennis) Bird, five grandchildren Tommy Jr, Leah, and Jay Lynn Teasdale, Samantha, and Roger Doty Jr. his grandmother Betty Boyd of Wheeling, his Uncles Charles Terrill, Butch Terrill, and Norman Terrill, also many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday April 3, 2025, from 4-8 pm, and then on Friday from11 m till time of service at 2 pm, with rev. James Hoff officiating, interment in Belmont Memorial Cemetery St. Clairsville.
