Harold Wayne Kane, age 83, of Grove, Oklahoma passed away on September 22, 2023.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 55 years, Karen Sue Kane; his parents Herbert Paul Kane and Georgia Elizabeth Witcher Kane; his brothers Cecil Hal Kane, Paul Herbert Kane, and Hugh Coleman Kane, and his sister Georgia Elizabeth Kane Haynes.
Harold is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
He was born in San Angelo, Texas on November 30, 1939. He grew up ranching. He married Karen Sue Turner on August 19, 1960, at the Church of the Nazarene in Enid, Oklahoma. He joined the US Navy in 1957 and served 2 years. He then enlisted in the US Air Force, he was stationed at numerous places around the world, his last assignment was Flight Line Supervisor and Flight Mechanic with the 474th TAC Fighter Squadron. He retired in 1978 as a Master Sergeant. Upon retirement he worked as a mechanic for several years in Las Vegas, Nevada before becoming a union plumber. He and Karen moved to Syracuse, Kansas in 2008, where he continued to work as a plumber. He moved to Grove, Oklahoma in 2021 to retire.
Harold's wishes were to be cremated and buried at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery at Fort Dodge, 714 Sheridan, Unit 66, Fort Dodge, Kansas 67843. His Celebration of Life Memorial Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 11:00am, Kansas Veterans Cemetery at Fort Dodge with full military honors.

I lived across the street from the Kane's when I was a teenager at Nellis AFB. They took me with them for several years, and I learned how to square dance. They were like my 2nd Mom & Dad! May you rest now in God's arms, knowing I will always love & miss you
