Harold “Hal” Keenan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on December 4, 2021.
Born to Harold Sr. and Elinor Keenan, Hal was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, David and Frank. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia, his children, Brian and Elizabeth, his cherished grandson, Kyle Keenan, his sister, Eleanor Lamperti, and his loyal dog, Abby.
A proud Navy veteran, Hal served aboard the USS Intrepid, an experience that remained a lifelong source of pride. Known for his strong work ethic and integrity, Hal was one of the owners of Unitemp, where he earned the respect and friendship of many.
Hal faced his battle with Parkinson’s and pleural plaque with quiet strength and dignity. Above all, he loved his family deeply and took great pride in their accomplishments.
He found joy in the simple pleasures — golfing with friends, biking along scenic routes, and casting a line in the surf.
Hal’s final resting place is by the ocean, at his favorite fishing spot in the surf, where he can forever continue his quest for “the big one.”
