Harold Thomas Kullot, 82, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away on March 16, 2025, at St.
Mary's campus Mayo Clinic. Harold was born in Mankato, Minnesota on July 12, 1942, to Thomas and Magdalene (Latusek) Kullot. Harold grew up in the Mapleton, MN area, graduating from Mapleton High School in 1960. After high school, he began farming with his dad in Mapleton. In October 1965, Harold and his family moved to rural Eyota to purchase what became the Kullot family farm.
On January 6, 1966, Harold married Sharon (Ballard), with whom he shared 59 cherished years of marriage. Together, they enjoyed a fulfilling life sharing many memories with family and friends, including many winters spent in Arizona, a place they grew to love.
Harold had a passion for the outdoors, and he could often be found hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling when he wasn't farming. He was a fan of country western music, the Minnesota Twins, and the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed card games, spending time at the Eyota Sportsman's Club, casino visits, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and was a member of Holy Redeemer Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; their four children: Julie (Gary) Bierbaum of Apple
Valley, Don (Dawn) Kullot of Spring Valley, Kris (Dirk) Bierbaum of Rochester, and Darin (Emily)
Kullot of Eyota. Nine Grandchildren: Jaya Bierbaum, Lynn Bierbaum, Kamryn (Kaleb) Storm, Kal Kullot, Joe Bierbaum, Jason Bierbaum, Danny Bierbaum, Ben Kullot and Tanner Kullot. Siblings: Bob (Rita) Kullot, Dennis (Irene) Kullot, and Kathy Herman and many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Magdalene Kullot, his in-laws Floyd and Gladys Ballard, and his brother-in-law, John Herman.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Church of the Resurrection, 1600 11th Ave SE, Rochester, MN on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11am. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 5-7pm at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will take place in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Eyota.
