Harold Lambert Obituary
Harold was born in Buffalo, MN to August and Delorus (Knight) Lambert on February 26, 1929. Harold met Catherine, the love of his life, they married April 4, 1950, and had 11 children.
Harold was a loving Father and Grandfather, who was a dedicated hard worker and took pride in all that he did. He enjoyed taking road trips, riding his bicycle, walking and doodling around outside finding projects to complete, he enjoyed listening to country music and was knowledgeable about the artists, he was excited to watch the Twins except when they lost. Harold was a kind, passionate person and loved to joke around, his humor was infectious. Harold retired from SuperValu after 38 years but continued working with his son at Lambert's Landscaping & Sod for 21 years.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents August and Delorus (Knight) Lambert; four brothers, one sister; his wife of 74 years Catherine Lambert; daughters Mary Lambert, Susan Lambert-Smith, Sandra Neilsen; grandson Gabriel Neilsen; in-laws; many nieces and nephews.
Harold is survived by his children Shirley Finical, Cliff (Karla), Joan (Alan) Osburn, Judy (Scott) Dvorak, Roger (Christine), Tony (Liz), Donald (Nita), and Harold J. (Sue); 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law; several nieces, nephews and friends. Harold will be dearly missed by all.
Services held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Peterson's Chapel in St. Michael, 300 Main St. N., visitation at 11am, service at 12 noon, luncheon following. He was laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope. www.thepetersonchapel.com
