Harold David May Sr.

Harold D. May Sr. "Hay Day" passed away on the morning of September 14th, 2025, while surrounded by family. He was born on December 23, 1952, at St. Ann's Hospital to the late Donald and Barbara May. He attended Central High School through the 11th grade and later worked at the Boys & Girls Club and was a carpet layer for Rite Rug.

Harold was a league bowler in his younger years and was very proud of his perfect 300 game. He was a fan of Reba McEntire and Elvis Presley. He loved the Buckeyes, Bengals and scratching off lottery Tickets.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 20+ years, Sheila May, his parents, Donald and Barabara May; son, Jerry May; sister, Hannah Hoskins and brothers, Donald May and Paul May.

He is survived by daughter, Angie May, son; Harold May Jr., sisters, Ruth Thompson and Penny Thompson; brother, Robert May; step-daughter, Angie Kelso; step-sons, Robert Kelso Jr., Josh Kelso and Shawn Kelso; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins along with his good friend, Robert "Bob" Kelly.

The family will be holding a celebration of life gathering at a later date, yet to be determined. Family and friends will be notified when the date and location are finalized.
