Harold E. “Inky” Miller, 79, of Amsterdam, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on May 16, 1946, he was the son of the late Jack and Lucy Iannotti Miller.
Harold was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School, class of ‘65.
Harold worked for more than 30 years at SOFCO Corporation as a warehouseman and coordinated shipping and receiving of inventory by truck and rail.
He was an avid runner and competed in numerous marathons. He enjoyed playing sports and rooting for his favorite team, the New York Giants. He enjoyed cooking, especially Italian food. His favorites to make were spaghetti sauce and meatballs with lots of garlic.
Harol was predeceased by his wife Karen Miller and his sister Louise Morrell.
Harold is survived by his daughter,Tara Anne Miller and his granddaughter Gianna Marie Miller.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Harold’s family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 between 4:00 pm and 6;00 pm at Riley Mortuary, 110 Division St. Amsterdam, NY.
