Harold Naylor Obituary
Salemburg
Mr. Harold Rufus Naylor, 78 of Salemburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 11:50 AM on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mr. Naylor was a native of Sampson County, the son of Allomd and Mattie Jackson Naylor. He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin sister, Carol McCullen; sister, Larry Whiting; and brother, Donald Naylor. He retired from the NC Justice Academy in Salemburg.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Sessoms Naylor of the home; two sons, Dale Naylor and Don Naylor and wife, Tiffany all of Salemburg; two grandchildren, Delaney Naylor and Christopher Naylor; two sisters, Faye Shipp of Salemburg and Lee Skywark of Erie, PA and one brother, Cloyas Naylor of Greensboro, NC.
