Harold E. Parton

Harold Parton, age 70 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012. He was a dedicated member, minister and singer of the Pentecostal Church of God. Harold is preceded in death by his sons, Anthony and Bob; daughter, Angela; parents, Robert and Ella Parton; brothers, J.R. and Dee; mother-in-law, Rue McMahan; brothers-in-law, Joe Ogle, Bill Styles, John Styles, Sherman Greene and Berl Boling. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Grace Parton; grandchildren, Jessica Creasong; great-grandchildren, Harley and Tessla; sisters-in-law, Anna Ogle, Betty Styles, Sonja Styles and Sylvia Parton; sisters and brother-in-law, Faye and Bill Wilson, Agnes Boling, Pearl Greene and Ina Whaley; special niece, Reba Brown; special friend, Eddie Ramsey; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and employees of Care Choice of America, especially Andrew and the nurses and doctors that worked with him. The family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 5 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Leroy Parton and Rev. Sean Guilliams officiating. Interment 11 AM Monday in Caton’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corban and Caleb Ogle, David Eberhardt, Kenney Finchum, Horace Lee Ogle, Wade Parton. Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Ramsey.
