Harold Perdue was born July 29, 1947, and departed this life Monday, March 30, 2026, reaching the age of 78 years. He was the son of the late Paul and Marie (Cooper) Perdue.
He was united in marriage to Patsy Kennedy and to this union one child was born.
Along with Patsy, he is survived by: his granddaughter, Morgan Slagle (Cody); one brother, Ray Perdue; and one sister, Ina Perdue; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Paul and Marie Perdue, he was preceded in death by: his daughter, Janice Perdue; and three sisters, Helen Deaton, Alta Ragan, and Noxie Wright.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.
