Harold R. Phillips

Harold R. Phillips, 84 of Clermont, IN passed away on March 13, 2014. He was a Physical Plant Engineering Supervisor for the State of Indiana working for both Central State Hospital in Indianapolis and the New Castle State Hospital. He proudly served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of Kingsway Christian Church in Avon, IN. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen, children, Carolyn Jefferies, Russell Phillips, Richard Phillips, Robert Phillips, Rebecca Zimmerman, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and they would be, Sandra Jeffries, Randy Phillips, Jack Phillips, Ross Phillips, Michelle Fraszier, Marley Fraszier, Andy Phillips, Christy Raisor, Kaylie Raisor, Hanna Raisor, Justin Phillips, Maci Phillips, Lori Fellers, Jocie Fellers, Cassie Fellers, Rachael Phillips, Bishop Phillips, Ryan Fellers, Carrie Zimmerman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Deward and Alma (Davis) Phillips and a sister, Majorie Weekly. Services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway at 11 AM with visitation held there Sunday, March 16th 4-8 PM. Burial will follow the service at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, IN. After the burial service, family and friends will be gathering in the lower level of the Smith building for a pitch-in celebration, which is located at 2221 N.
