Harold Eugene Staats, 93, of Wichita, KS, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at home. Visitation 9:00 a.m. with service following at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Glenville Church, 4604 S Seneca St. Wichita, KS. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. Harold was born in Coats, KS on July 17, 1932, to the late Lenna (Harrison) and Robert Staats. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked in shipping and receiving at Boeing and later worked as an elementary school custodian for many years. Harold enjoyed being outdoors and camping. On April 13, 1979 he married Melba (Wike) Staats in Miami, OK who survives him. He is also survived by: sons, Darrell Staats and wife Debra of Haysville, KS, and Kevin Staats of Wichita, KS; daughter, Darla Blake of Wichita, KS; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Benjamin "Benny" Staats; sister, Elizabeth Marie "Betty". Memorial donations to Traditions Hospice, 3221 N Toben St., Suite 200 Wichita, KS 67226.
