Harold Thompson Obituary
He married Barbara Sullivan in June 1973. He worked for the city of Waterloo for 32 years and retired in 2015.
Survivors include his wife and 2 children Sherry Thompson and Brian (Misty) Thompson. Grandchildren: Sierra DeGroote (Trenton), Savannah(Dakota) Eldridge, Shaden (Courtney) DeGroote and Sawyer Thompson. Great grandchildren: Maxton Willison and Theodore Eldridge. Siblings include: Maxine (Gary) Beaman, Roger Thompson, Lois(Don) Broyles, Norman Thompson, Mary (Lee) Sprosten, Karen (Carl) Olmstead, Janice Boge (Jerry), Dan Thompson, and Jim (Joni) Thompson.
Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Arlene and Deborah, and one brother Thomas.
Harold enjoyed fishing, working on and collecting cars and tractors and anything with a motor. He also had a love of guns. He really loved life and proved it the way he lived it. He cared about everybody and was always ready to lend a hand, usually handing out a beer!! He was so proud of his family and especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will be holding a Celebration of Life in the spring.
