Harper Morris Obituary

Visit the Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services - Mountain Home website to view the full obituary.

Our beautiful little angel Harper Lee Morris went to be with Jesus on February 21, 2025, unexpectedly in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was born on July 5, 2024, in Conroe, Texas, to her loving parents, Travis and Kaylee Morris. Though Harper’s time with us was brief, she brought so much joy to everyone she touched during her 7 months and 16 days here on earth.

Harper is survived by her loving parents, Travis and Kaylee, and her big sister, Hayven Morris. She leaves behind an extended family who loved her deeply, including her maternal grandparents, Josh (Misty Bennett) Holloway and Lisa House; paternal grandparents, Terry (Renee Tetlow) Morris and Regina Schlosser; maternal great-grandparents, Jim and Alicia Holloway, and Ray and Dianne Larson; and maternal great-great-grandparents, JoEllen and Jim Holloway. She was adored by her aunts and uncles, Meridith Holloway, Jacob Holloway, Emily Holloway, Maya Grote, Terry Dale (Ashley) Morris, Tiffany (Jason) Bradley, as well as numerous cousins and extended family members who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Each of these individuals played an integral role in shaping the love that surrounded Harper in her brief time with us, and their memories will live on through her.

Though Harper’s journey with us was far too short, her spirit will never fade. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Donna Holloway; paternal grandparents, Marlene and Louie Morris, Pat, and Robert Schlosser; and great-uncle, Mike Morris.

A letter from mommy and dada,

Harper, you will forever be our beautiful baby in heaven, we are so thankful for the time that we had with you here on earth. You filled our home with happiness and made our lives complete, the time that we had with you was far too short, but oh so sweet. We may not understand gods plan right now, but we find comfort in knowing that you are in the hands of Jesus. We will forever hold you in our hearts surrounded with love. Mommy and dada will see you again.

I love you; Mommy and Dada
