Harriet L Bailey

Harriet Louise Bailey, age 84, of Prescott, MI., passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Harriet was born on February 20, 1941, in Escanaba, MI., to the late Irvin F. and Louise V. (Willette) Thompson.
Harriet was raised in Adrian, MI., and then the family moved to Rochester, MI. She married the love of her life, Larry E. Bailey on October 25, 1958. They had 5 children together. Harriet was a wonderful homemaker and as the children grew, she worked in the local factories in Washington Twp.
Harriet enjoyed crocheting, especially making blankets for grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Around her home she grew and tended to her flowers. She loved watching the wildlife, particularly watching the hummingbirds from her deck. More than anything else she loved spending time with her family.
Harriet is survived by her children, Tina (Jerry) Osgan Bailey, Connie (Stanley) Sawdon Bailey, Cindy (Dave) Spohn, Chrisy (Andy) Erdelyi; daughter-in-law, Terri; sister, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Harriet is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry (8-5-25), son, Todd A. Bailey.
Family will hold services for Harriet on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott. Visitation at 11:00am – 1:00pm. Funeral 1:00pm. Interment to take place on Tuesday (30th) at Christian Memorial Park in Rochester Hills, MI. After Monday's service, the family will host guests at the family home in Prescott at 5271 Wildwood Dr.
