Diane I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I know how close you two were. I will always remember her as my home ec.teacher! She would remind me that directions in sewing made a difference. I hope your memories comfort you in this challenging time. You have and will be in my thoughts throughout the years. Your mom will be here in spirit to guide you and keep you strong. A legendary woman to all of her students from Carrabec High. Love Cindy and Jason
Miss you girlie!

2018 Family Outing at Shaw's Lobster Wharf in Damariscotta

My heart goes out to Mike and Diane for the loss of their beloved mother. Aunt Harriet was always there for me, particularly when my mom (her little sister) was gravely ill and after she passed. I appreciated how she always tried to find the good in both people and things. She was always quick to share stories and knowledge with me, something that came easily to her after her many years of teaching at Carrabec. Her legacy of caring definitely lives on in her wonderful children, who were always there for her, particularly in the last few years as her health declined and she went to live with Diane in Waldaboro. Even then, she was always up for an adventure and loved to go for rides. I always looked forward to our annual trip to Damariscotta where we would shop at Reny's, go to Shaw's Lobster Wharf, then cap it off with an ice cream at Round Top. I will treasure my memories and look forward to continuing traditions with my cousins...RIP Aunt Harriet.
