Harriet Anne Ruckle Douthirt

Harriet Anne Ruckle Douthirt, age 81, of Towson, MD, passed peacefully in her home on November 17, 2025 surrounded by her husband of 56 years, Michael Cohen, and her family including her children, Henryka (Mark), Sean (Esha), Beth (Yosef), and Barney (Mary). One of the six deeply loved children of Harriet and William Douthirt, Harriet was born in Halethope, and was the beloved and proud grandma, "Dear Dear," to Zoe, Bernadette, Maria, Arav, Maya, and Samuel. Services will be on Sun Nov 23 at Ruck Towson and on Mon Nov 24 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Church and Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or food, memorial gifts in honor of Harriet may be made to the Towson University Foundation in support of the University Child Care Center or through donations of children's books to libraries or schools.
