Earlier today

Sad to hear of Coach Elder's passing. I remember riding to cheer leading camps outside Junction City KS. We always had a good time. He would push you to be better in track putting you in matches you didn't think you could do. And who could forget his Knowledge Knots? Will miss you Coach!

Yesterday

I would like to express my sincere and deepest condolences to the family of Coach Harry Elder, one of my heroes! I have known Coach for a very long time, as he used to stop by Central High School during summer weights. He would always start off our conversations by saying, "I came over to see how the Big Boys do it!" When I went to Bishop LeBlond, I could always find Coach at our football and basketball games! Coach was the BEST! He always had a kind word for everyone he encountered!

Well done Coach! I will always have a special place in my heart for YOU! I am so grateful for the positive example you were to your student/athletes, parents, and others in the coaching profession!

Rest In Peace dear friend! You have earned it! With gratitude, appreciation, and much love and respect!
