Harry was the best Sergeant I ever had. He was patient and supportive and positive. He forced you to believe in yourself. We have traded so many emails over the years that I created a Harry file in my inbox. I am so glad I did that. That makes you still close. God bless you Jim, Mark and Marci. Harry was a blessing.

My condolences to the family, Harry was the type of person that made a life long impression. As one of his recruits in 1976 at the old police academy, I thank him for a time I will always remember. Harry you will be missed but never forgotten.

I'm the daughter of the Harry & Theda Davis, who live a few houses away from Harry. I didn't know him well, but whenever I did see him, he always had a pleasant hello for me. I'm so sorry for your loss, and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Harry was truly a great American. One could not ask for a better friend.
He was a genuine patriot. Harry will be solely missed by all. He touched the life of countless people for the greater good. Community service was not an abstract definition to Harry,---it was away of life. Harry you will never be forgotten.

I fondly recall Harry when he was an instructor and I a rookie going through the Old Academy in 76. We assisted each other through the early years when there were no spanish speaking officers in PWCPD.
I will miss a good friend. Leo Rodriguez (Beaufort, NC)

Words cannot express the loss for a grandfather, father, brother and friend. Harry was always there for others, always engaged in projects for family, community, and our Nation. He will be remembered as one who help make a difference. He was a patriot and true friend.

JUST HEARD OF HARRY'S PASSING. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HARRY AS THE KIND HEARTED POSITIVE MAN THAT HE WAS. MY FONDEST MEMORY OF HIM WAS WATCHING HIM TAKE PICTURES AND INTERACTING WITH THE CHILDREN AT THE CHRISTMAS SHOP WITH A COP. REST IN PEACE HARRY. CONNIE PENNINGTON
