Harry Charles Holly Jr., 68, of Tunkhannock passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Allied Services, Scranton.

Harry was born on a balmy Sunday morning in Scranton on July 10, 1955, to the late Harry Charles Holly Sr. and Barbara Jean (Gill) Holly. The third of three baby boomers, he was not only the namesake of his father, but also a spitting image. Harry lived his entire life in Wyoming County, being raised in Factoryville and living his adult life in Tunkhannock.

Harry was proud to work for Procter and Gamble for 44 years starting off on 5/6M paper machines then spending the last 25 years repairing the entire module as a millwright machinist while running the roll shop. He took pride in a job well done and always took the time to "do it right the first time". His greatest accomplishment was his family, raising his two boys to be good men. Harry could always be counted on to be there for his boys whether it was yelling at a ref, pushing them to work harder, or a well-timed "I'm proud of you".

Harry's life found new joy in early 2002, when he met his wife of nearly 20 years, Tina. Harry and Tina's love was powerful and could be seen in the way they looked at each other or their playful banter. They loved traveling, dancing to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect," and their baby chihuahua, Boo Boo.

He is survived by his wife, Tina (Harvey) Holly; brother, Charles Holly; sister, Ann Marie Holly; sons, James Holly (Sandy) and Justin Holly; stepchildren, Kenny Janiszewski, Eric Janiszewski (Meagan), and Amber Janiszewski (Zac); 7 grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend Harry's funeral services which will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM from the Sheldon Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
