Harry Kaehr Obituary

Mr. Kaehr was born June 20,1941 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the son of Harry M. and Erna D. (Scheele) Kaehr. He married Karen J. (Kaufman) Kaehr, who survives.
Mr. Kaehr was an educator and teacher at Wilson Jr. High School. He was a member of the Gideons (Muncie East Camp), Philadelphia Christian Church, and East Jackson St. Church of God, where he taught Sunday school for many years.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Karen, include one daughter: Katasha Carney of Hartford City; one son: Monte Kaehr of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and four grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in northern Indiana, near Angola at Jones Chapel Cemetery, 3241 E. 300 North, Fremont, IN, 46737, with Rev. Gary True officiating.
A Memorial Service will follow immediately afterward at 1:30 p.m. at Stueben County Event Center, 100 Lane 101b Crooked Lane, Angola, IN, 46703.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons at https://gideons.org/donate.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com.
