Passed: December 22, 2025

Harry Moffett Mozingo, Jr. was a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry M. Mozingo, Sr., and his mother, Annie Bawkey Mozingo. He was also preceded in death by his brothers David, Thomas, Richard, Louis, and Russell Mozingo, and by his daughter Pamela Mozingo and his son Mark Mozingo.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila, his children Kevin Mozingo and his wife Colleen, Angela Scranton and her husband Doug, and Michael Mozingo and his wife Denise. He is also survived by his brother Mike Mozingo and his wife Minnie, his sister-in-law Irene Mozingo, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Harry was known for his deep love of the Dallas Cowboys, his passion for 1955 Chevrolet Bel Airs, and his delight in sharing silly dad jokes. He was a hardworking man who took great care of his family and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Service Arrangements:

Visitation will be held on December 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Buckingham Baptist Church in New Canton, Virginia. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, with fellowship afterward in the fellowship hall of the church.
