Vic and I met in 1957 when we both attended Hibiscus Elementary.
We served together on the school safety patrol.
We competed on rival little league teams with Vic in 1959 winning the batting title with a .407 average to my .403.
That summer we were together every day!!!
I was devastated when the Penn Family moved to Olympia Heights but we spoke by telephone and we occasionally saw each other.
Our loving friendship continued as adults.
Visits, phone calls, and text messaging kept us close.
Vic was a hero first responder serving in Viet Nam!!!
He was an excellent three sport athlete!!!
He was the best Son, Brother, Husband, and Father as well as my dear friend!!!
Vic is with other members of the Penn Family in Heaven with both God and Jesus!!!
