Harry Dean Pratt, 70, of Dixon, IL, passed away on December 12, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Harry Dean was born on January 27, 1955, in Dixon, to the late Cornell H. and Laura Elizabeth Pratt. He proudly served in the United States Navy and later worked on his family farm, where his strong work ethic and dedication were evident to all who knew him. He was also a devoted stay at home dad who provided daily care for his loving family, a role he embraced with pride and commitment.
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Constance Pratt. Harry Dean was a proud and devoted father to Cassandra (Josh) Hintz, Emily (Kyle) Schnake, Jenny (Bob Onken) Richards, Jason (Shanon) Laidig; and a loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Cindy (Marty) Davis and Judy (David) Gieson, and was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dear friends, Liz (Dave) Foose and Ethel Swanson.
Harry Dean will be remembered for his ability to put a smile on your face, his resilience, and his strong work ethic. All qualities that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A Visitation will be from held from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at Noon on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Dixon Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Michael Donoho, officiating. Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, IL.
