Harry was the rector at All Saints (with a cast of invisibles as his associates). He shepherded me through confirmation as a former southern baptist and reformed christian. His patience and grace allowed this retched soul to embrace the church again. He was there for me and my partner at the time. He begrudgingly allowed an evensong to start and was thrilled with its success. Harry was such an amazing man, friend, and Rector- propped up by the amazing Allison. My prayers are with his family.

I am most grateful that Harry served as the chair of my discernment committee for Holy Orders at The Cathedral of St. Philip. I would not be a priest were it not for the manner in which he structured and lead this group.
Give rest, O Christ, to thy servant, Harry, with all thy Saints: where sorrow and pain are no more; neither sighing, but life everlasting.
Amen.

I have such fond memories of Harry and his wife. He kept it real. We would get to see him and enjoy his sermons at Saint Philips on various occasions. What a blessing he was to everyone.

As our curate at St. Luke's, Harry's joy in Christ was so important to me and my junior high aged youth group.
He was loving, funny, and gave us all a sense of truly belonging to the family of God the Father. He changed us all , infinitely.

I knew and loved Harry at Camp McDowell in the 1960s. My maiden name is Pritchard, and he left messages for me at Birmingham Southern College when he wanted me to be a counselor at Camp McDowell. This was a time when the only phone in the dorm was down the hall, and I got several notes that my dad called. My dad would say no, he didn´t call me. I finally hooked up with Harry and had a very meaningful week as a counselor on his staff. I´m sorry I never talked to him again. Kirksey Pritchard McIntosh. Daphne, AL.

There will always be just "one" Harry Pritchett. Peace and healing to his family and those of us blessed to be one of Harry's parishioners at All Saints.

I am very thankful that I had the privilege and pleasure of knowing you, to know you was to love you, I admired your wisdom, knowledge and sweet spirit, you were kind, loving, generous, and appreciative. Your love for your family is applaudable.
You were a terrific Boss, actually, the best boss I´ve ever known. You were big on equality, a defender of civil right's. Your life was marked by compassion and love for all. You made this world a better place. Thank you for encouraging me to step out in faith and make it to the finish line by reminding me that "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" I can NEVER, and will NEVER forget you. I am blessed because of your life, and I have indeed experienced, "That GOD IS A SURPRISE "
Sleep in perfect peace

Most of my memories of Harry are from Camp McDowell. For the campers, he modeled compassion and kindness with joy.

Harry was an outstanding man and role model. He was my boss for 11 years at All Saints and taught the value of giving credit to others, recognizing the value of each person´s contribution to the church, treating everyone with dignity and respect. He will be missed.

Back in the early 90's when my husband and I were looking around at churches to join we tried All Saints. We went to the coffee hour and Harry came up to us to introduce himself and welcome us. He was the most personable, kind, funny, wise man. Needless to say we joined All Saints and had an amazing run with Harry and the "dream team" clergy. Our children were baptized there. I've never been a part of a more special baptism service with the personalized banners and the congregation signing as the babies were paraded through the church by the god parents. Harry made that beautiful place of worship a place that felt like home.
