Harry Reardon Obituary
He served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967, and was stationed in Fort Knox, Quin Vietnam. Reaching the rank of E-4, he received Marksman, Vietnam Service, and Good Conduct medals.
A devoted husband, father, uncle, and friend, he touched the lives of many in his kind and loving way. He was active with his local D.A.V, Veterans Association and was also a member of McMakin Lodge #120 F&AM who will hold services on Friday at 7 PM.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Carolyn, daughter Rebecca (Jeffrey), son Gary (Tina), cherished grandchildren Alexis, Emily (Ian), Austin (Sydney), Dylan (Brittany), and Ethan, great grandchildren Mabel, Rosalind, and Rilynne, brother Robert (April), and sister Mary (Jim), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Roberta, sister Ann, and brothers Michael (Peggy) and Daniel (Wanda).
Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 5 PM - 7 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 10 AM.
Burial will be held at Dayton National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 10 AM.

I remember Harry as a classmate of mine at N.C.H. As I recall, Harry was a good guy. . . .one of the nicer fellows. A little on the quieter side. Always pleasant, likable and cordial. (A proud veteran!) In later years I'd run into Harry 'here and there'. Perhaps at a council meeting in N.C.H. Most memorable was when I talked to him at length at our N.C.H. "63" reunion. It was such a pleasure! I know Harry will be profoundly missed by his family and all who knew him. Open the gates God . . . here comes Harry!
