Harry Ruff, 92, Streeter, ND died Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Eventide in Jamestown, ND.
Harry was born July 29, 1933, in Medina, ND the son of Fredrick and Margaret (Enzminger) Ruff. He attended rural schools in the Medina area.
He and Inez Reich were married on September 14, 1952, at Medina, ND. They initially made their home in Minnesota where Harry was employed at Grand Rapids University Agriculture School. In 1956, after a few years of living in Minnesota, they moved back to North Dakota and settled in the Streeter area. He worked for the Streeter Elevator and Streeter Auto; he also owned and operated a school bus for the School District for 24 years. In the fall of 1966, they moved to a farm 3 miles north and 3 miles east of Streeter. They moved into Streeter in 2004.
Harry was a member of the Hope Ebeneezer Church of Streeter and the Streeter Lions Club. He held various offices in his church but enjoyed being head ushers for many years. He enjoyed cheering on the Streeter Bobcat basketball team for well over a decade and driving the activity bus for Streeter games.
Harry is survived by his children; Kenneth (Lois) Ruff; Alan (Audrey) Ruff, all of Streeter; Sherry (Randy) Everding, Medina, ND; 6 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, in 2019; his parents; and all of his brothers and sisters.
Visitation-9 AM-4 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Haut Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Prayer Service- 7:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2025 at Hope Ebeneezer Church, Streeter, ND, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM.
Funeral Service – 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Hope Ebeneezer Church, Streeter, ND.
Interment- Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND following lunch at the church.
