Harry White Obituary

passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on June 13, 2023 surrounded by family.
He was the beloved son of Retired Lieutenant Colonel Harry Alexander White, Jr. and Yetive
Morris White and was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 16 th, 1944. At the age of 22, Harry had
obtained a Bachelor's Degree at Auburn University and joined the Air Force where he served our country
for 30 years before retirement in 1997. Notable commendations include a Bronze Star, Vietnam Service
Medal, Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service Medal. Harry is survived by his children: daughter
Shannon White and son Brian White. He will be remembered with admiration and fondness for his
service to our country, his sense of humor, and his lifelong love of animals.
A military service honoring the life of Colonel White will be held at the Fort Sam Houston
National Cemetery on Monday, July 24 th at 14:45.
