Harry White Obituary

It is with affectionate respect that we celebrate the life of Harry Thomas White Jr., born on October 23, 1947, in East Pittsburgh, PA, and departed from us on January 9, 2026. Harry was a beacon of love, charisma, loyalty, and humor, radiating warmth and care to all who had the privilege to know him. For those lucky enough to call him a family member, friend, or colleague, Harry's bright spirit and engaging laughter will be deeply missed. He lived a life full of love, enriched by his dedication to his family and his diverse interests.

Harry's loving heart was shared most deeply with his wife, Elodia White, to whom he was wedded on February 20, 1982. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared experiences. He was a doting father to Laura, Edward, and Thomas, and a devoted grandfather to Nathan, Aryanna, and Jacob. His brother, Larry White and his wife Marian, nephew Ryan White and his wife Raquel, his cousins Donna Young, and Adelaide Wagasky also survive him.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry White Sr., and Laura White, and cousins Betty Wallick, Robert Nock, William Mizla, Walt Krakker, Steven Williams, and David Williams.

In his professional life, Harry was a dedicated Computer Operator, retiring in 2014. In his leisure time, he was an avid sports fan, a culture enthusiast, and a human encyclopedia, always ready for a lively discussion. He was a member of the American Legion of Plainville, MA, where he made many cherished friendships. A devout Roman Catholic, Harry lived his faith in his daily life, embodying the words from the Bible, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another" (John 13:35).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4-7 PM at Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA, followed by burial at St John Cemetery, 165 West Street, Attleboro, MA.

One of the strongest memories I have of GeGe is that he was always smiling! Along with that came the mischievous glint that was ever present in his eyes!
As kids, we spent a great deal of time together...I'll always remember family times and how much we all loved and cared for each other. I'll always remember his smile.
