Harry Arthur Woods III, 54, died at 3:27 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony's Health Center in Alton. Born September 5, 1968 in Alton, he was the son of Harry Woods Jr. and Donneetia (Hopper) Woods. Harry enjoyed riding motorcycles and holding his granddaughter. He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Beard (Eric) of Alton and Samantha McKinnon (Jesse) of Alton, one son, Harry Arthur Woods IV of East Alton, a granddaughter, Kaylee McKinnon, and a sister, Nancy Reathaford (Mark) of Cottage Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents. All services will be private at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
