Harvey Lee Boyd, age 59, passed away on July 12, 2025 at his home in Glade Spring, VA. Harvey enjoyed playing golf and traveling with his wife Margaret and their dog Ladybug. He loved people and had many friends he enjoyed being with. Harvey attended Highlands Fellowship Church and was was a member of Clear Creek Golf Course.
Harvey is preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Boyd; his mother, Viola Boyd; brother, Joseph Boyd; sister-in-law, Cynthia Boyd; and two nephews, Tristan Boyd and Gabe Boyd.
A visitation for will be on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. with Allen Jessee and Virgil Musick officiating. The burial will follow at Ketron Memorial Gardens with Larry Cook, Andrew Johnston, Bruce Arrington, Ron Proffitt, Tristan Boyd and Gabe Boyd serving as pallbearers.
Harvey will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was loved.
In Lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations for St. Jude’s Research Hospital or the International Fellowship of Christian and Jews.
