Harvey McClary Rymon Jr., 76, passed away suddenly on February 7, 2026, at St. Lukes Hospital Warren Campus.
Harvey was born on June 9, 1949, at Warren Hospital to the late Alice and Harvey McClary Rymon Sr. A lifelong resident of Washington, New Jersey, Harvey grew up on the family farm and remained close to home throughout his life, deeply rooted in the community he loved.
He graduated from Warren County Technical High School, where he studied welding, and went on to dedicate more than 45 years of service working in the Maintenance Department at Albea, formerly known as the American Can Company. Harvey retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and pride in his craft.
On March 26, 2006, Harvey married his beloved wife, Cherylyn Rymon (ne Handelong), and cherished every moment they shared together. The two enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Gettysburg and Ocean City, Maryland. Harvey also enjoyed long bike rides and had a lifelong love of Studebaker cars. He proudly owned one himself and was an active member of a Studebaker Car Club for many years.
Harvey was also a longtime member of the American Legion Post #9 in Palmer Township, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cherylyn Rymon; his daughter, Teresa Magrini; his sister, Patricia Padgett; his brother-in-law, Terry Cals Sr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Robinson, Kaitlyn Robinson, and Christopher Magrini. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Dorren Vitek and her husband John, Diana Sperling, Danny Cals, and Terry Cals Jr.
In addition to his parents, Harvey was predeceased by his sisters, Jane Cals and Betty Remick.
