Harvie Clovis Kesterson

Harvie Clovis Kesterson, age 77, of Vandervoort, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Clovis was born June 11, 1948, in DeQueen, Arkansas to the late Charles Edward Kesterson and Ruth Arizona Mize Kesterson. He was a humble, quiet man but when he spoke, it was with wisdom and grace. Clovis was a legend – an expert cattle rancher who loved life and loved to dance. He enjoyed hog and deer hunting, and he was known for raising the best bay dogs in the country. He was a good and admirable man, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Clovis was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Kathy; his daughter, Marietta; brothers, Coleman Kesterson, Joseph Dean "Joe" Kesterson, Basil Regil Kesterson, and Jefferson Loyal "Jeff" Kesterson. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kesterson; stepchildren, Debra Buschman (Paul) of Mena and Michael Wood (Keiko) of Trinity, Florida; nieces and nephews, Melinda Tadlock, Loren Kesterson, Clint Kesterson, Travis Kesterson, Twilla Wilson, Brandon Courtney, Tony Gunter, and Sonja Kesterson; grandchildren, Benjamin and Samuel Buschman, and Lala Wood.
Services for Mr. Clovis Kesterson will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Lunch will be served Saturday at noon prior to the funeral at the Southside Church of God located on Dallas Avenue. Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Beasley Wood Funeral Home. Brother Donnie Jewell and Brother Tim Smedley will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Josh Tadlock, Jamie Williams, Clint Kesterson, Steve Dearing, Michael Wood, and Paul Buschman. Honorary Pallbearers are, Dale Toon, Loren Kesterson, and Travis Kesterson. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas.
