Dear Hasmukh masa,

Even though I did not see you often (once when I was young and again in the summer of 2000), I enjoyed spending time with you and often think about you. I want to thank you for looking after me when I stayed with you - I remember you would take us to restaurants and on days out.

I know that you are looking after masi, Rishi and Shamir and I hope I get to see you again one day :)

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

We had many things in common and I especially enjoyed our talks about our children and how they were growing. You would be proud of how your children have grown. I call from time to time to let them know that I think of you often and that you are not forgotten. I will never forget your smile and your quickness to laugh.

I knew Hasmukh since I was just a kid. I guess I still am as I'm only 19 now and was only 16 when he passed away. We were only family friends but he was always considered my Uncle. My dad and him were best friends. His two sons are not friends but have become my brothers. Hasmukh Uncle taught me how to ride a bike, inspired my own musical hobbies, and showed me how the perfect most fulfilling life should be lived. He will always be missed and moreover always be loved by those whose lives were brightened with his smile.

Dear Mrs. Parmar, I did not have the pleasure of working with your husband or knowing all of your family. However, I do have the opportunity to work with Manoj Parmar.

I know that some of the qualities described by friend's of your husband, are some of the same qualities displayed by Manoj.(mostly the strength of his convictions, and his consistent steadfastness in finding the right answers...not to mention the great 'Parmar' smile).

I was very sad when I heard the news of your family's loss, and shed tears along with the rest of our country.

I understand more now than ever before, the importance of Legacy.

Since Hasmukh and Manoj knew what is important -Family, Love, Unity- You can have some rest in the Peace of knowing your Sons & their Son's sons, will have the Strength of that Legacy flowing in their veins, and passed on from Family, Love, and Unity by 2 Brothers.

Your family will be covered in our prayers. Arlene Guerrier

Hash ws one of my dad's friends. I remember going into work with my dad one and Hash was the first person i met. He came up to me and said how pretty I lokked in the picture on my father's desk. My father is with Hash because he, too went to work on September 11. The desk where set up in cubes and Hash's cube was not far from my father's. So every so often I would see this head pop in and know exactly who he was. The memories that I have of Hash are special and that is the way that they will stay. Mrs. Parmar, I must tell you husband was a wonderful man with bright smile on and the humming. (Even though one really wanted it.) I am sorry about your loss.

I knew Hash(as we called him) from Bankers Trust co. I will always remember his smile. I would tease him all the time. If I got mad at him he will still give me a grin. I would look at him and say "Don't look at me with that silly grin". I couldn't stay mad at him at all. I will always remember him.

You are all in my prayers every time I go by the area. May God blessings be with you all and heal your pain. sign - Josephine LaPrade

I would just like to offer to the family my heart felt condolences. I had the pleasure of working with "Hash" while he was employed by Bankers Trust. At every opportunity he was always smiling. That is what I'll take with me, his infectious smile and warmth. May you be blessed never fading memories.

Sincerely

Hash and I worked together at Cantor Fitzgerald for a long enough time for me to know that he was truly a friend. I will always remember Hash and his eagerness to be on good terms with us without surrender. His smile, was genuine and his laughter was heard often, and many times about himself.

We often compared notes about our families and it was clear that his family was the most important thing in his life.

I was lucky to have known him, and I think of him sometimes too often, he had left us so quickly.

We are very sorry for your loss of Hasmukh. It sounds like he was a wonderful husband and father. May his life and love live on through all of you. Our hearts cry with you.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
