Hassan Abdul "Huss" Babil

Hassan Abdul Babil, 56, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
Hassan was prominently known as (Huss). Huss was famous for cracking jokes as his laugher was infectious.
Hassan attended Harrisburg High School. Huss worked in various restaurants/hotels, warehouses, and drove cabs. Hassan was gifted in writing rhymes. He enjoyed hip-hop music, shopping, cooking, dominoes, and football. On Sundays, you could find him cheering on his beloved Oakland Raiders. Hassan was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Brown-Babil, his father, Water McCoy Babil, his sisters, Rhonda Lynn, Deena Michell, and Tammy Rochelle Alexander. Surviving is his son, Cadence Babil who was and will always be Huss' pride and joy; sister, Naeema Babil-James; brother-in-law, McNeal James Sr.; nieces, Aaliyah and Laila James; nephews, McNeal James Jr. and Aakil James; aunts, Brenda Brown-McGill and Mary Babil; uncles, Leon, Michael, and Adrian Babil; The Milan Family; along with a host of relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Rescue Fire Company 3701 N 6th St #1, Harrisburg, PA, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM.
